Sinai Residences has always held a multi-dimensional approach to wellness for their residents. One of their most popular wellness offerings is the innovative MultiBall program.
Seniors often struggle with limited mobility, isolation, and a lack of stimulating activities. This leads to declining fitness levels, cognitive difficulties and feelings of loneliness. While senior living communities do their best to provide socializing and exercise to their residents, they often lack time and resources to fully cater to everyone’s needs.
Sinai Residences in Boca Raton, Florida, noticed the same problem and found MultiBall, an interactive sports and gaming wall. At first, CEO Rachel Blumberg wasn’t sure if it was the right fit:
“At first, I was hesitant because I saw professional athletes training with MultiBall, and our residents are older and more fragile. But then I saw the kids’ programs, which were fun, easy, and engaging. So I decided to invest in MultiBall.”

The outcome of this investment in the well-being of their residents? A complete transformation in how residents approach fitness, socialization, and even cognitive engagement. Whether through friendly competition, group play, or spontaneous participation, the system has encouraged more social engagement and community building among residents, adding a dynamic and fun element to everyday life – all while promoting movement and exercise.

HEALTH BENEFITS:
Residents showed improved mobility, balance, coordination, and agility, while cognitive challenges in games helped stimulate mental sharpness.
